Mika is an award winning director of photography working internationally across Film and TV.
Mika has recently finished filming for SISU 2 - a sequel of widely successful action thriller for Sony Pictures Entertainment directed by Jalmari Helander. Other feature credits of his include THERE’S SOMETHING IN THE BARN for 74 Entertainment, Charades and Don Films as well as the cult classic IRON SKY and IRON SKY II THE COMING RACE.
In the UK, Mika has most lately worked with BBC/ Disney+ and Bad Wolf on several episodes of DOCTOR WHO as well as on THE KILLING KIND for Paramount+ and Eleventh Hour Films. His other projects include WHY DIDN’T THEY ASK EVANS? an Agatha Christie project, directed by Hugh Laurie for for Mammoth Screen and BritBox, the first series of WWII drama WORLD ON FIRE for the BBC and the political drama COBRA for New Pictures and Sky.
Mika’s productions range from low to high budgets and across wide list of genres. Besides filming on locations around the world he has strong experience on studio shoots.
